Shay Wilkins – “You are amazing, Shay. Truly. A real miracle worker. I am so grateful to you.”

Ruba Rabadi – “I thought I should make that email request sound official, but now I want to add that I really can’t tell you how much your personal care means to me. I don’t have a good understanding of any of this, and your taking the time to explain everything is so helpful. My parents and then my mom alone  were very lucky to have you taking care of them all these years , and now so am I! I really appreciate your expertise in all of these areas.”

Angela Mask – “Thank you so very much.  You were very helpful, courteous, and professional during this process.”

At Direct Link Insurance Services, we believe in supporting our community and standing up for those in need. That’s why we’re proud to donate to Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter — a vital organization providing safety, shelter, and support for women and children escaping domestic violence.

Ernestine’s offers more than just a place to stay. They provide counseling, legal advocacy, children’s programming, and the tools needed to rebuild lives with dignity and hope.

Our donation is a small step toward helping survivors heal and move forward. We’re inspired by the incredible work Ernestine’s does every day and encourage others to learn more and support this important cause.

This February we celebrate Black History Month! It’s a chance for us to reflect upon the diversity of Black communities in North America, and to honor the contributions of Black Americans and Canadians.

As part of this commitment, and in honor of February being Black History month Acrisure US will be hosting a Wednesday speaker series with the theme “Inclusive Journeys: Building Bridges of Belonging.” Fostering connections and collaboration across our organization is central to who we are. This series aims to enhance our commitment to inclusion and provide a platform to inform and grow in knowledge about your fellow colleagues.

Canada’s official theme this year is “Black Legacy & Leadership: Celebrating Canadian History & Uplifting Future Generations.” One of our Canadian universities, Queens, has some fantastic free resources available: Black History Resources for people of all ages and backgrounds, including podcasts, reading lists, museums and more.

As we celebrate Black History Month, let’s take this opportunity to learn, reflect, and engage in meaningful conversations. By embracing diverse perspectives and honoring the contributions of Black communities, we strengthen our commitment to inclusion and belonging. Together, we can continue building a culture of respect, appreciation, and unity this month and beyond.
