National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Truth and Reconciliation Day is a time to honour the Indigenous children, families, and communities affected by Canada’s residential school system. It encourages us to learn about this history, remember those who suffered, and reflect on the lasting impacts of colonialism. The day also reminds us that reconciliation requires ongoing learning, respect, and meaningful action toward a more just and respectful relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.
